Fisheries Liaison

As part of London Gateway’s commitment to minimising disturbance to the fishing industry, a Fisheries Liaison office has been established at London Gateway. This office acts as a conduit for information between the project, the fishing industry and regulators. Monthly newsletters are released providing stakeholders with updates on construction progress, forthcoming activities and issues of interest to commercial fishermen, charter angling operators and anglers.

This webpage includes supplementary information relevant to marine users, such as updates on dredging activity and changes in locations of monitoring buoys.

Vessels should continue to monitor London VTS on channels 68 and 69 to obtain the most recent information about London Gateway construction activity. Notices to Mariners, released by the Port of London Authority, should also be consulted as these provide marine users with information about activities and objects affecting navigation in the Thames Estuary.
