Breakbulk/ Flatrack/ Out Of Gauge
DP World London Gateway can assist with the loading and discharge of Out of Gauge (OOG) and Break Bulk Cargo, as well as Flat Rack loading and lashing.

Please note that the more photos you are able to send, the more accurate the estimated price will be. Please note that any lift over 50 tonnes is subject to provision of a detailed lift plan.
Our OOG lane can handle the following maximum width:
Ingate: On lowloader- 3.28m
On standard truck- 6.27m
Outgate: On lowloader- 3.5m
On standard truck- 7m
Once dates and times have been agreed and costs accepted to undertake Breakbulk/OOG/Flatrack work, we will need you to confirm the name of the company bringing in the cargo, along with the drivers name and vehicle registration.
A car packing service is offered at London Gateway. We can pack a wide range of vehicles into both dry van and reefer containers. Once the booking has been confirmed we will ask you to complete a vehicle delivery and inspection form, confirming the delivery details required to allow the vehicle onto the terminal. We will complete this form with the person delivering the vehicle so that both parties agree on the state of the vehicle upon arrival. We will then provide photos, if required, once the vehicle (s) are packed and complete a DGN if required. We will ask you to confirm if the booking is hazardous. If it is, there must be no more than ¼ tank of petrol in the vehicle. If the booking is not hazardous the tank must be virtually empty and we will also disconnect the battery once the vehicle is in the container.
Fumigation of containers can be arranged for both import and export containers. Please note that sometimes the authorities will request fumigation of a container, in the event that an inspection is not able to continue until fumigation has been carried out.

- Cargo devanning, we only offer this service if it is a non-commerical reason (e.g. if container has damage, is overweight, has customs held cargo which is delaying the rest of the shipment)

All explosives are direct delivery, 1.4 class can be accepeted however 1.4s is NOT a direct delivery
Class 7, 6.2 and 5.2 also need to be direct delivery
All deliveries of above mentioned classes must be approved by the London Gateway Harbour Master
